Our Story

Demrie & Melanie,Two Girls Having Fun!

Yes, it's true! They're having fun. After working tirelessly in corporate America for years and years, they decided to take control of their life and become business owners... proving that work/life balance is absolutely achievable. Melanie brings accounting, logistics and pricing expertise while Demrie brings tax planning expertise, entrepreneurial success and business development talent to Greenlight Tax Group. One could say it's a match made in Heaven with each of them bringing different and necessary talents to their company and clients. Combined they bring over 52 years of experience in accounting and tax planning to their clients who span from coast to coast.

Demrie graduated from The University of Oklahoma Price College of Business in 1996 and won the Entrepreneurial Award that same year. Melanie graduated from Kansas State University in 1995 with a degree in Accounting and completed her Masters in International Business in 2006.

They are both wives, moms and dog lovers. Melanie bleeds purple for her Wildcats and Demrie is a die-hard Sooner fan. They don't wear the same colors during football season, but they always share the same bottle of wine... every season.
